2. Overview

This website is purely informational. We do not use cookies, analytics, tracking or advertising tools, social media plugins or embedded third-party content. All fonts and images are served from our own web space, so simply viewing the site does not transmit data to third parties other than our hosting provider.

Personal data is processed only in the following cases.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. When you visit the website, the hosting provider's servers automatically record technical information that your browser transmits (server log files):

This data is needed to deliver the website, to ensure its stability and security, and to detect and defend against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and error-free operation of the website. The log data is not combined with other data sources and is deleted by the hosting provider after a short retention period.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the hosting provider in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

4. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide (such as your name, email address and the content of your message) to handle your inquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your inquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries.

Our email is provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland (Microsoft 365), on the basis of a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR. It cannot be ruled out that data is also processed by Microsoft Corporation in the USA. Microsoft Corporation is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, on the basis of which the European Commission has found an adequate level of data protection (Art. 45 GDPR).

We delete your data once your inquiry has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply (for example, for business correspondence under German commercial and tax law, generally six or ten years).

5. Booking a call via Calendly

Our website links to the scheduling service Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA). The link is a plain hyperlink — no data is transmitted to Calendly when you visit our website. Only if you click the link and book an appointment does Calendly process the data you enter there. Calendly's own privacy policy applies: calendly.com/privacy.

We use the booking details you provide to prepare for and hold the appointment. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps at your request) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in efficient appointment scheduling).

6. Encryption

This website uses TLS encryption (recognisable by "https://" in the browser's address bar) to protect data transmitted between your browser and our server.

7. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then stop processing your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

To exercise any of these rights, simply email us at info@datics-consulting.com.

Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

8. Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy when our website or the legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page.
